We'd like to congratulate Bruce Miller, F&B Director at Pheasant Run Resort, for his 2017 Stars of the Industry Award nomination.
Bruce consistently goes out of his way to take care of our many guests. As you can image, with 293 guest rooms, 88,000 square feet of meeting space, 4 restaurants, Golf, Spa, and Comedy Club, he can be asked nearly anything on any given day.
Here is a perfect example from last Easter, when Bruce was also overseeing Brunch for 1200 people in our Grand Ballroom:
"We recently had the pleasure of visiting Pheasant Run Resort and enjoying their fabulous Easter Brunch. It was complete with every food imaginable, carving stations, omelet’s, seafood and “yes” even the Easter Bunny. They had a petting zoo and the kids, “loved it”!
My mistake was thinking that they had an Easter Egg Hunt as well that day, but after reading correctly; realized that I had missed it the day before. I approached a Manager and asked him if there was anything he could do for the eight kids I had with me and to my surprise, he said; let me check on something.
This man’s name was Bruce Miller the Food & Beverage Director of the resort; he’s busy overseeing service for 1200 and he comes back with a basket of eggs. He personally proceeds to take the eggs outside and place them around trees, under bushes and so forth. He then tells me the kids hunt is ready.
The kids had a blast and it’s a memory I will never forget! We will see you next year and make sure to catch the Saturday Easter Egg Hunts. Thank you, Pheasant Run Resort."
For the many hours that Bruce works, the leadership and direction he provides as well as the hospitality he provides our many guests, this 2017 Stars of the Industry Award nomination is well deserved.
